Nubes Argentea is extremely proud to inform his latest book ‘Continental Journeys – The Definitive History of the Bentley R Type and S Type Continental Models from 1952 to 1965’ written by Davide Bassoli has earned a place on the six-strong shortlist for the Royal Automobile Club Motoring Book of the Year 2017.
The judges of the 2017 award are Tom Wiltshire of Auto Express; Mark Dixon, deputy editor of Octane; Christian Whitehead from the motoring department of Foyles bookstore; Ben Horton of Hortons Books; Gordon Cruickshank from Motor Sport; Mick Walsh, Classic & Sports Car international editor; commentator and reviewer Henry Hope-Forst. Ben Horton says of ‘Continental Journeys’: “Here is a investment book of the future – if you want a truly example of specialist publishing then this is it.” The winner will be announced on November 1 at a ceremony to be held at the Club’s Pall Mall clubhouse, during the RAC’s annual London Motor Week.
‘Continental Journeys’ has been entered for the others prestigious 2017 Guild of Motoring Writers’ Montagu of Beaulieu Trophy and the relaunched 2017 Octane Award’s Publication of the Year (previously the International Historic Motoring Awards).
